About

Welcome to The Pursuit of Hippieness!

My name is Victoria, and this is simply my journey of learning how to live a natural, happy life through recipes, fitness, and daily inspiration. I am nature obsessed, approach many things holistically, cook organically, and yoga is quickly becoming part of my daily routine. I’m currently a college student studying fashion, entertainment, and media in New York City. Though I spent some time at school in southern California, I’m originally an East Coaster and I’m so thrilled to be fulfilling my lifelong dream of living in NYC.

After years of feeling uncomfortable and unhealthy on all ends of the diet spectrum (hello freshman fifteen!), I have learned to listen to my body and have found that being a vegan allows me to feel my best inside and out.  I have recently embraced a macrobiotic-based way of eating, and all-natural, organic foods makes such a difference in my overall health and wellbeing. I’m easily bored, so I change up the way I stay active on a nearly daily basis… some days I’ll hike, others I’ll swim (weather permitting!), and I am an aspiring yogi. No matter what it is, it’s so important for me to get moving in some way or another!

I’m so excited to share my experiences as I stumble through life. I love and appreciate any comments, since I always find myself inspired by the blogosphere!

I love hearing from you! Please email me at victoria@pursuitofhippieness with any questions or comments!

From an “original hippy” keep up those great recipes. I was just talking about the whole foods, Vegan, yoga type lifestyle with my son the other day. He said, “You know Mom your generation raised the consciousness of the whole world, and started a lot of movements of change. I smiled, and just winked……so keep it up, wink, wink from a true still living the life hippy mama. Love and Peace!
