Paris Randomness.

Hey there!

Yesterday I officially finished unpacking myself in my beautiful apartment (!) and I’m still basically lost in the deliriousness that has been with me since I arrived a week ago. I have basically constantly been on the move: exploring, meeting new people, getting settled, exploring, starting classes, exploring, eating, sleeping, exploring, exploring, exploring. There have been ups and there have been downs- it is, all in all, a huge adjustment- but above all else, it is finally starting to feel real. Yesterday was the first day that I literally though to myself, “So this is my neighborhood…”

Rather than bore you with every minute of the past several days, I thought I’d just bombard you with some photos.

A couple of views from (and one of) my apartment…

… and constant snow.

IMG_6410 IMG_6407 IMG_6396The second-to-last picture was an impromptu pillow fight outside the Centre Pompidou that we caught on the way up to the top. It made me feel like I was in Washington Square Park for a second…

Anyway, that’s an idea of what I’ve been up to. I’ll try to keep any photobombs to once a week… unless, that is, I was just traveling somewhere (I’ve already booked my first trip!). Then, I can’t make any promises. Other than that, expect the usual- recipes, style, general musings about my hair (coming up) and some other random things I’ve been working on. And Mission: Find a Yoga Mat in Paris is still a go.

I hope you’re all staying warm!

You didn’t bring a yoga mat with you?! Also your apartment looks lovely.

      Thank you!
And nah, it took up a little too much space and weight in my luggage, and I’m pretty due for a new one anyway. I’ve worn the old one down a lot. I did end up finding a very decent one yesterday though, and I’ll be breaking it in tonight!
