So we’ve covered fashion, but that’s just one part of the equation. I’m a bit of a beauty junkie, but I loved how minimal my routine was this summer: no foundation, barely any concealer (thanks to no foundation- breakouts were rare!)… just tons of moisturizer, waterproof mascara, and a bit of smudgy brown shadow. I’m a liquid eyeliner girl so it was a weird switch up for a while!
However, in keeping with the fall styles that I love, I think my makeup will be a little edgier- which is totally different. Even with my typical mini cat eye, I keep my palette neutral and don’t even touch my lips. Something tells me this is about to change…
I’m kind of oscillating between deep, dark, and dramatic and keeping it natural and cozy with rich browns… I love that picture with the model wearing the black beanie. It’s sooo “Saturday afternoon in late October.” Luckily, there are many fall (and winter days), so I have plenty of time to really just go off my mood. That’s what makeup and beauty is all about, isn’t it?
